Eureka Miniatures recently announced the release of a new set of 28mm Arquebusiers de Grassin 1744-49 on their web site. The new miniatures, pictured below, represent members of a corps of light infantry raised for Simon Claude, Chevalier de Grassin, in 1744. The figures feature the elaborate uniforms of the time, and are very detailed. There are six different figure variants, in a variety of poses. There is also an officer, a standard bearer, and a horn blower.

Dead Gentlemen Productions has released the trailer for the sequel to The Gamers. The movie is entitled The Gamers 2: Dorkness Rising. I've seen and enjoyed the original movie, so I expect this one will be pretty decent as well.

According to the official web site (linked above), here's the story for The Gamers 2:

"All Lodge wants is for his gaming group to finish their adventure. Unfortunately, they’re more interested in seducing barmaids, mooning their enemies, and setting random villagers on fire. Desperate to rein in his players, Lodge injects two newbies into the distrust: a non-player character controlled by Lodge, who the power gamers immediately distrust, and the rarest gamer of all — a girl. Litko Aerosystems' new $6.99 Custom Tokens product allows you to create plastic tokens in one of 11 colors and 7 shapes, with the text of your choice on them (up to 12 characters). Each purchase gets a set of 10 tokens in a single design (i.e., they're $0.699 each).
